It's nice to see the collective conscience becoming aware of the truth. lie after lie after lie from the government...and we're supposed to trust them? They're not worthy of our trust on any level.

Obamacare added (as Carol says) 16,000 new IRS "Agents"...and not one new Doctor. I guess now that we've passed it, we're seeing what's in it...Abolish the Fed and its collection wing of anti-American rogues.

First of all Waffler...the IRS is NOT government. It's the privately run collection wing of the privately owned Federal Reserve. You know! That for profit entity that we do not elect, that sees us as sheep to be fleeced and answers to no system of justice. In short, a Government sanctioned system of extortion with no accountibility, no morality and no scruples...it's a psycopathic eating machine that cares not one bit for Americans. How you can equate that as heroic is merely testimony to how twisted you and the system you idolize truly are. Flat tax at the till is the only system that is equally just and gives people the choice of whether or not they wish to participate with their purchases.

I don't believe the government was "conceived" in blood and hate unless the blood refers to that of patriots at the end of a revolution...I believe it was conceived nobly then slowly bought and controlled into what we have today...an entirely evil entity. And will not personally take a stand for liberty under a black banner. I prefer the stars and stripes, the stars and bars...or the maple leaf. All three have been proud symbols of freedom in the past.

Good Point Mike. And let's not overlook the fact that the various alphabet police agencies now have tanks, drones (armed?), armed helicopters and more (hollow point) ammunition than the military...do we feel safer now?

The value of Currency as we now have it is based on our productivity...the Gross Domestic Product...so what happens when we have say, 46 million people on food stamps, and a tax system that absolutely destroys motivation to produce? The currency becomes worthless because no one will want to produce anything. And why should they? The ever more socialist system will take care of them, right?

And heres another example of how socialism works: Illegal Aliens using an ITIN no. are filing taxes and getting refunds in the tens of thousands of dollars. How? They simply claim a tax credit for children...living in Mexico. LOTS of them. They take money from hard working honest people and "redistribute it"... And there you go...Socialism. Wonderul system hey?

America is closer to being a banana republic than a Constitutional Republic at this point.

The thing that socialist Idealists either fail to recognize or just plain ignore is the FACT that if people are given the opportunity to live at someone else's expense...they will. And only the moral, ethical and proud will be left to produce...and when they realize that their efforts will bear them nothing... the system will collapse...as it always has. Independence, responibility for one's own existence and the freedom to pursue individual rights and goals is the ONLY natural order that works.
