And that is why one should ALWAYS find a definition of a word from a dictionary from the era in which the word was used. Like our Constitution, don't use that "Meriam Webster 'NEW' world dictionary" use an ORIGINAL Webster dictionary or better yet examine how the word was used in all the instances from that time era. It's why we have so many issues with the Constitution and rights today, people don't know the definitions of the words when they were written. Like a militia no longer means the able bodied men in a country that fight independently of a regular army in its defense, but instead means national guard. If you control the meaning of words, you can control the way people think and how they think. Once you control people's thoughts you are already in power.

Well I'll explain. If the government is to rape you/your rights/your money (rape v. to forcefully seize), will they think about how to keep you even mildly safe?

I have to agree with Logan, but I voted for the electorates that would vote McCain. There were just some things about Obama I could not stand. After the election someone I know said something very inteeresting that goes with this quote. "Would you rather go off the cliff at 60mph or 120mph? Both ways you die, just one is a hell of a lot faster and puts the blame on the other guy."

Sad but true. I put this and a couple other quotes like it from this site up on a board here at my college. Within 24 hours they were all riped down and replaced with the kids of quotes you see all over 'tolerance' posters and in leftist propaganda. The ignorant masses at my school of 'higher education' annihilated quotes from both our founding fathers and others and replaced it with 'new age' ideology and socialism. Woe to those of us living in a dying county,
