A fool. The US did not EVER give aid to OBL. The forces in Afganistan the US supported formed what we today call the Northern Aliance. This alone should relegate this neophite (and most every Democrat) to the corner with a Dunce Cap. They hate us for a myriad of reasons; mostly because even our poor are successful beyond their imagination, while their nations suffer in obvious poverty. Our success is an affront to their belief that they are superior (as in literally a superior race) and serve a superior god; to them, therefore, to serve their god they must destroy Western Civilization. That's the framework we must deal with.
