Waffler, most men know that no man is perfect and that a society of men brings out many of those imperfections, but your highlighting of the imperfections of a for the greatest part a just man is childish. A little research shows his feelings about slavery and his attempts to keep it out of the Constitution but because of southern pressure couldn't do so. Now if you had mentioned modern day economic slave owners such as the international banking crowd you would have shown some mature growth of character rather than the stunted childish character you seem to be stuck in.

Waffler, take away the power of international banking to charge interest on money it creates out of thin air with absolutely nothing to back its value, return it to the treasury department to create and put into circulation based on the GNP interest free and we would have no national debt. As it stands now the national debt can never be paid off because we must borrow at interest to pay off the interest already owed. It's called perpetual debt and the system exists only because Americans allow it to exist and economic slavery is the end to its means. The best thing we all could do for our country is to throw the economic slave masters out of power but unlike me and a minoity of others, who holds their hands out for nothing we don't work for, most Americans can't wait for our current government to hold its hands out to international banking for its next hand out, at interest of course.

Talk about clairvoyent and prophetic. An insightful man indeed.

Cities are just huge pens people are driven into to make them more easily controllable and dependent where the science of behavioral modification can be easily tested. No need for rat mazes.

Mike and J Carlton, full agreement from me.

Waffler, you know that "indiviually and collectively paying our honest debts, National Debt etcetera" is not what I meant. If anything our government owes us a whole lot more than you think we owe them. How about that allegiance to their oath they took for starters.

J.B, the great experiment of our founders was jumped on since the day of its birth because it had the potential of surpassing the good of any other form of government that ever existed and its destruction was of paramount importance to those who didn't and don't mind the restrictive forms that are practiced by those nations you speak of. I believe the ethos (religious or moral beliefs) of these nations were incorporated within the intent of the founders but it is a fact that the ethos of those nations today which speak of love, tolerance and respect of individual life are not practiced by their governments which our form of self government finally allowed for to happen. Obviously this has not been the case and we now have a government that has reverted to the old and present forms of government that in many ways have similarities with the present day governments of the nations you spoke of. 5 stars for the quote because in truth the best government over men is the one that governs the least except in the situation of our unique constitutional form of self government which, based on personal responsibility, implies the best government is the one that governs the most.

Laughable if he meant it as a joke but if he was serious the implication means those not present should feel guilty for not being there to do their job. Since todays congress doesn't do their constitutional jobs as their oath promises they'll do, their reply should really be either present or "guilty".

Anon

This unbroken cycle of law making is just one congress handing over job security to the next one. Makes me wonder if there's a finite number of laws man can create before he runs out of them. Is there a form of slavery greater than total slavery?

Keep letting these international bankers create money out of thin air and we get what we ask for because by allowing it we are giving our consent.________"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks." Lord Acton

Swoop, I don't know the complete answer to your question but I do know your attitude will ensure nothing is done about it. If it's true?!

Right on Archer, safeguards are made up as the judicial process calls for depending on the details of the case and by those who run the procedure and in most cases today what the desired outcome is by the politics of the day. There is no blindfolded justice today.

Anon

A fair trial by the natural law protected by our Constitution is for everyone. The problem today is that trials are not fair and really subject to the whims and desires of the judicial characters running the show. In the case of gitmo detainees yes they should be treated fairly and by the evidence judged but our courts no longer stand for justice but for the political ends that can be accomplished throught their corrupted processes. A fair trial is deserved for everyone on the planet who lives when their lives are in jeopardy at the hands of those who know no justice but their own. This is one of the intentions of our founders, that our lawful process of trial by jury be offered to people (individuals) of the world.

Anon

A perfect example of a lynch mob menatality disguised in legality. 5 stars for the truth it points out.

Anon

No we see the purpose of the jury judging the facts yes, but the law as well as to it's constitutionality.

Anon

Agree Mike.

Anon

A beautiful description of our current corrupted system if I might add.

The government in our country is not government. We the people are self governors and our public servants are just that, servants hired for the job, by upholding their oaths, of protecting our natural right to govern and control ourselves thus our lives.

Anon

Archer, What a mind f%ck. You got that right and if that concept can be understated your line IS an understatement.

RBESRQ, When it's government doing the censorship through their control over the education system, media etc. is wherein the problem lies. I have no problem with individual choice censorship, that is where the power lies and where it belongs. I never said censorship didn't exist in a world where only the good live now did I.

Anon

RBESRQ, It isn't that we all do it that concerns me, it's that our administrations much more powerful than a local municipality do it and do it all the time but I see by your simple dismissal of the quote this doesn't bother you at all. Interesting.

Must BEGIN by subduing the freeness of speech. Those who desire more government control have all the mass media to propagate their message whereas the information I seek has to be searched for. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press are both intertwined rights so I would say freedom of speech is more than being suppressed, more like buried.
