Government always gets in the way and things go South. Back in the days when the Duma ran everything from the top down, The Soviet Union had those great 5 year plans. They never worked so they would have a new 5 year plan about every 2 or 3 years.

Most of the people in the U.S. Congress have no discernible qualifications to govern and the President has even fewer.

The nonsense that comes from Waffler is truly amazing. Waffler, listen carefully, I'll use small words. Insurance companies and banks do not tax anyone. My insurance premiums and bank charges are voluntary as I can choose not to have insurance or a bank account. The key word is "voluntary". Get someone with at least a 3rd grade education to explain this to you.

If I steal your money and buy a BMW and someone else steals your money and gives it to the poor orphan down the street, which of these two events are theft? For Reston, Dick and Waffler, they are BOTH theft. Give me a regular good old crook any day over a Washington politician. At least when the crook steals my money he doesn't tell me it's for my own good.

Mike, trying to get Waffler to "get it" is like trying to teach a pig to whistle. It's impossible and only annoys the pig.

Reston, we are supposed to be the government. We sowed the wind by turning it over to rotten politicians and are now reaping the whirlwind. As to good government, there is no such thing, only some less oppressive than others.
