Buddha Quote

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.”

I love this quote!

Then again, Johnny Cash's comments, "I felt so sick I was afraid I was going to live." More seriously, what does the Buddha say to the abused, dying child who feels unloved? I know, he says, "I will always love you."

I wonder what he would say with regards to the horrific abuse the USA and Saudi is committing in the Yemen with a million or more children starving. And, Israels abuse of the children and people of GAZA...

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND CORNUCOPIOUS THANKSGIVING  always lay an extra placing at the table for the unexpecting guest  if one doesn't show then go out and find one! usually by the soup kitchen...

I like it a lot.

This is a great quote, but I do not believe it can be attributed to the Buddha.  I think it's from Leo Buscaglia who was quoting/paraphrasing a Thai Buddhist teacher perhaps in Born for Love: Reflections on Loving.
