Victimless crimes and compelled compliance makes martyrs of the free at heart. Such severe rules, codes, debauchery, and otherwise criminal tyranny are only another day at the office to the slave at heart.

That is sometimes the only way to raise the consciousness of those apathetic to bad laws.

Too severe? Which law? Whose law? Based on what? The quote is an undefined statement, in some context true, in other contexts not.

When we have a prison system filled with drug offenders, I can't see why anyone would not understand this quote.
