When was the last time news was a function of TV news ? 1 Reply E Archer, NYC 2/28/13 I have seen the inner workings of the local television and radio stations as my family worked in those fields when I was younger. Without bad news, it is hard to keep viewers/listeners interested. That is why most 'news' has a component of fear -- it sells. I agree with Mike, 'news' today is to maintain the "statist theocracy's" hold upon the hearts and minds of its subjects. Reply Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown 1/19/23 Sadly this "news commentator" probably got more laughs then Gaucho Marx, yesterday's quoter labeled comedian.
