Don Luskin Quote

“You don't have to scratch liberalism very deeply to find socialism underneath, nor socialism to find authoritarianism underneath.”

Welcome to Amerika. Socialism is any of various economic hypothesis or possibilities, morally organized / statist managed collectives, and political theories advocating or applying any part of communal or governmental ownership, administration of the means of production, services and distribution of goods. Socialism is characterized by production for use as an ethic rather than profit, by equality of individual materialism - normally adversarial to individual sovereign right, by the absence of competitive economic activity, and by government determination of wealth / benefit sharing levels. Liberalism's current authoritarian cabal / criminal oligarchy is seemingly fighting for its very existence (at worst, only a few will enjoy the hospitality of incarceration).

Capitalism and socialism don't have much to do with totalitarianism vs. freedom, except that it is much harder for free men to become noble enough and long sighted enough to want to espouse the tenets socialism. With that said, all totalitarians, no matter their creed are despicable. We should not mix up the two.

I believe Mike covered All the bases, Well Said ! Socialist are lashing out around the globe, Individual Sovereignty comes to Light. The Seed and Root of Brakah, Drowr liberality. Blessed, Pure and Clear Chophshiy Liberty. Freedom from Bondage and Tax, At Your Pleasure. When Free Will association is denied, Tyranny rules.

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

It is only in the absence of Virtue that tyranny can prevail.

Accordingly, would be totalitarians are, unfailingly, arch cultivators of immorality.

In its contemporary exemplification, the Federal Government, particularly, primarily exists to subsidize sloth, immorality and irresponsibility, at the nominal top and supposed bottom of our society.

Cato, can you give us your understanding of what socialism is. All definitions of socialism (communism to fascism) I've read entail communal / government ownership. Title does not describe a perfected allodium but rather, a bifurcated interest = the State ultimately owning the property with a third party being offered a privilege to own certain defined enjoyment and relative position to said State owned equitable position. (property tax is based on ultimate ownership). Socialism's authoritarianism is applied by an oligarchy that does the inorganic phantasm's (government) biding. Capitalism is a laissez faire system where a free sovereign expends excess capital (tangible assets - gold & silver coins, etc.) by way of investments. Within 'capitalism', the individual sovereign is the only authoritarian.

2020 will be remembered as the year of global insurrection to usher in authoritarianism.  Would-be despots are showing their colors world-wide with authoritarian power grabs.  Their target?  Total control.  On the horizon, the injecting of drugs into every person on the planet, perhaps annually, forever.  Also, apparently, Capitalism is the cause of the pandemic, so all small businesses closed, all people under house arrest, mayors & governors now micro-managing every petty aspect of our lives.  We need permission for EVERYTHING now.

Rioting is essential, so rioters are sometimes detained but always released, to be arrested and let go again, and again.  The DA's are in on it.  The mayors are in on it.  The governors are in on it.  Social media are in on it.  The MSM loves it.  Professional sports promotes it  if Americans won't pay for it, China will.  The Democratic playbook is now straight from the Red Guard during the Maoist purge.  What a year!

Don't you think individuals should use proper unbiased analitical componential measurement application in making proper assessment or assessments?
