No I dont agree. I assert that Human individual is paramount. In Democracies of the modern times we do find the dangerous event of politically manipulated and self-aggrandizing 'majority public' which gets dangerously detrimental to a minority of very valuable humanly oriented individuals.

We question and cautiously engage our fellow countrymen, who pose less physical threat than a government. There is danger in collective power. I believe the phrase better remembered is, "Take care of yourself".

Hillary's here stated dogma is in goose step harmony with a Joseph Goebbels' quote If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. Such lie is now believed wholeheartedly by the here quoted author.

It's impossible to determine the level of Fascist inclination driving this very dubious statement without knowing the context it was made under. In any event, I suspect and resent the very questionable positioning of this quote. Its placement between history's biggest bogieman and a ranking adviser to Mussolini is unnecessary and leading, an obviously intentional, politically loaded smear. Why? Mme. Secretary's status as an internationally ranking official of a war-making, invading nation, unequivocally a "war criminal" under Nuremberg Tribunal findings, clearly places her in the "tyrant" class. Still, given the chance I'd demand of her: "Just where does the philosophical reasoning behind this smelly comment come from, Imelda, er, Hilary?"

John F. Kennedy"s, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" expresses the same intention as this undocumented quote from HRC.

Though Kennedy urged the individual to a higher standard of social responsibility as a voluntary choice, this statement addresses the same concept but as an expectation or general rule of governance.

Kennedy just found a nicer way to say it. No one ever accused HRC of being a wordsmith.

Granting no trial and murdering  individuals like Mr Bin Loden is not good for promoting social tranquility Mrs Clinton.

Individual and society are connected.  What promotes one promotes the other.  It is here I would like to differentiate Mrs Clinton  from the Socialist.
