But most of what Congress does in the name of liberty is unconstitutional and against liberty. How many of our children will die to pay the price to give Iraq liberty? How many of our rights will be taken to make us free? How many countries will we anger to show we can crush whatever we don't like? It doesn't matter to our government if they trample anyone or anything that gets in the way of increasing their power. Reply S. Engel, Fredericksburg 11/8/05 Empty rhetoric for domestic consumption only. The speaker, who led the U.S. into Southeast Asia, did not survive to see his successors abandon the South Vietnamese to the tender mercies of Communism. The price, burden & hardship were just too much. Reply michael morgan, San Jose, CA 11/9/05 The writing is worthy of the West Wing. I wonder who his speech writer was. He was talking about secret societies and an international cabal that was working hard to dissolve the American republic as we knew it. It was a successful endeavor of course. And as for the "pay any price" part? Well, no one can say JFK didn't walk the talk. Reply Peggy, Livingston,NJ 9/12/08 What would JFK have said if he had lived to see 9-11-01? Reply Freedom Fighter, In the land of not so free 4/13/09 what would an american do if they know that private banks control the money supply of their country and are spreading socialism to america. Well JFK knew this and he was assasinated for it. Lets not let this great man die in vain. Fight for your country! Like JFK said "If we make peaceful revolution impossible, we make violent revolution inevitable" Reply Brett, Garden Grove 10/20/13 JFK Was a Great Man. & So Was his Brother Robert.
