Yes, because fools will still be fools whether they are free or not. In truth, it is fools chasing their folly that is leading America to ruin today, and it is fools that let them get away with it and by so doing aiding and abetting the fools that are ruining America. It's tough to rate this quote because it's in question form so I won't bother.

Unfortunately, one of the many facets of freedom is being at liberty to be stupid. Fortunately Mother Nature has a handle on this and it's called natural selection. Man can not cure stupid...Nature can and will.

Stupid cannot be cured but ignorance can be cured. Let's hope that at least some of the ignorant in this country are waking up to the folly inside the beltway and turn many of the perpetrators out in November.

Well, it would seem so, in this wonderful country where its people are apathetic, without compassion, lethargic, greedy, nationalistic to the point of fascism, condone torture, allow war criminals to walk free, and spew their hate propaganda in the corporate media. Jim, you have no idea who the real perpetrators are - they are the ignorant bastards that sit in their living rooms and allow America to become a third world state (my apologies to Third World Countries for the poor analogy/association)

Real freedom doesn't test the iq of the citizens. In a free society each person can chose to function in the manner their gifts and graces allow; fool or thinker, washer woman or tinker. Wish we had enuff folks who would support freedom and not condone what is happening, but we seem to have a lot of ostriches...head in sand, butt in air...and that will be kicked, and the time is getting closer...

As someone I greatly respect once said, "you are only as free as you know." in other words, if you don't know your rights, they can be taken away without your knowing.
