Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr. Quote

“The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind. When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious.”

Patrick Henry, Red Hill

Immense pride, resentment and unconstrained fear underlie the morbid need for control commonly exhibited by illiberal "liberals".

Nurturing, as they do, psychotically illusive notions of their virtuousness, they characteristically garb their power lust and avarice in a spurious mantle of "compassion".

Theirs is a cult of idolatry of the idealized self and of the State, a State maintained firmly and forever under their control, by what they esteem to be their "divine" right.

The cure? Stop consuming broadcast media. You are what you eat. Patrick Henry nails it, too.

Mike, Norwalk

Liberalism of this nation's founding was to individual liberty, personal responsibility and sovereignty of being - all, at the laws of nature and of nature's God. Today, liberalism's roots derive from a theocratic socialism which expands on foundational lies and spins of fabrications.

Robert, why not MAKE AN ARGUMENT for liberalism? You exhibit the very laziness and lack of responsibility this quote highlights ...

Probably because the quote itself doesn't have anything to argue for or against, it's the deranged rantings of a lunatic who can't be bothered to back up his own viewpoint with any evidence, logic, or facts to speak of which genuinely illustrates the "depths" of conservative thought. I.E. there is none because conservatives don't have thoughts other than "I hate liberals".

I don't hate liberals, and I certainly don't hate Robert -- I love Robert!  I am merely trying to understand him.
