5 stars for accuracy. Once a politician crosses the bridge from honesty to...whatever it is they do...we should burn it behind them.

And if there is no bridge, he'll spend a billion taxpayers dollars to build one. Or should I say a billion taxpayer federal reserve notes.

Unfair! Politicians are no more fickle or doublecrossing than are the constitutients or public opinion that they represent.

Obama, GWB, Clinton .. you name it, they lie, lie, lie -- once they are in office, there is absolutely NOTHING we can do. That's democracy for you. Nothing but thieves and liars to choose from.

There is a reason politicians tend to be sociopaths. The lack of conscience is a particular advantage to a professional liar.

I think the bridges should be burned before they get to a point where they can doublecross that bridge. Better yet, if a way could be found to burn the bridge while he's still on it....
