A lot of truth to that. There is also something to be said of preparation. Archer's shared comments on this blog about his children's education here comes to mind

I wholeheartedly agree. It has been my experience that we learn naturally -- the barriers to truth are most often the unconscious opinions that we have held dear since youth. The search for truth is often the discovery of untruth (or downright lies). My children have had a combination of different schools and homeschooling -- my daughter just graduated high school at 16 years old. I did notice that when the children went to 'school' my wife and I seemed to have lost some authority -- the children would do whatever the teacher said even if they didn't want to, but at home they sometimes forgot that the parents have seniority. Homeschooling really helped though and gave us some credibility. ;-) It is interesting how on typical TV sitcoms the Dad is a bumbling fool who is funny but seems to know nothing of the real world. School is a preparation for the world, not the mastery of it.

We need more soundness from our Teachers whom have been educated in this Social System . We must reach our Youth before Non-Reality becomes Reality . The Mind of our Youth is the Foundation of our Future . Amen, Amen dove

We rightly understand the world not by steeping ourselves in the knowledge of it but by maintaining ourselves in a state of objective observation of it.

Wholesome detachment is the key.

The native faculty for learning that is exhibited, particularly, by children who have not been spiritually, mentally and emotionally compromised is rooted in their ability to objectively observe it.
