I'm not ignorant of the facts at all...I watch CNN and Fox and I know exactly what is going on. We're winning the war on terror. Our tax dollars will end Global warming. Our Government is well organized, efficient and benevolent. The shadow government of bankers and corporate interests is only a myth. The FDA only approves things that are good for us. And War is Peace and Ignorance is Strength. What else do I need to know right? Just tell me where to vote!

Paralyzing fear can prevail when people are knowledgeable of the facts. Such as being kidnapped, tortured, brutalized, raped and left for dead by a sadist with a knive and gun with no means of self-protection. Such was the experience of my wife.

Yes, Carlton, I'm not ignorant of the facts either...when I'm told by governement and the media that we only have 3.98 inflation, only 5.1 unemployerment, and that our economy is not in a recession - by the way, our underground reserves of oil are at about 97% - 'Fear is the darkroom where negatives are developed' source unknown unless someone out there can tell me

Sometimes the facts justify fear, and fear can be a useful motivator to solve the problem. Fear can either be a useful tool to you, or you can become the useful tool of the fear.

RobertSRQ can you tell me a fact? Why is it said that we are running out of oil when oil from the first region in which it was discovered is still flowing plentifully. I speak of Oil City, Pennsylvania of course and its Quaker State and Pennzoil Brands. And who is lying to us government or business.

Fear can also prevail when parties lack love, faith, truth and eternity as it exists.  Merry Christmas.

The facts are there is no critical thinking, diversity is not allowed, no sensitive impulses, and everyone is a predatory monster with no intention of changing versus the social being. 

Correction: The human socially responsible individual carries no weaponry. He uses his negotiation, deliberation, diplomacy, skills. Being one individual among billions he gets overwhelmed by the opposing monstrous behavior making him appear in the wrong. He is not, however, because he has the good intentions. Among so many lying monsters the lone honest man still remains.
