Untrue... there are both impeachments and recalls in our laws to allow us to change a government quicker than that. Also, 4 years is not the magic number at all, every member of the House is up every 2 years and in the Senate they get 6 on rolling 2 year schedule... and then there is the Judicial branch where we give them a lifetime... all in all, a totally bogus and unfunny quote.

As humor it gets 5 stars, as accurate it gets thumbs down. The de jure U.S. is not a democracy, not run by its once sovereign(s), and we're not the only nation that has to keep its government. We should reimplement Individual Sovereignty, the Representative Republic, the Constitution -that when adhered to protected the rest and, put to action a more watchful safeguard to stop the government's overthrow by the king Georges of the world.

Follow the Constitution. A democracy becomes a "mobocracy." The U.S. is a Constitutionally Limited Federal REPUBLIC.

The USA is NOT a democracy...it is a representative REPUBLIC Why is this so hard for people to understand? These are 2 very different philosophies. Ignorance isn't funny, its horrifying.
