What this country needs is not a good five cent cigar,it needs longer, much longer congressional recesses, The "five cent cigar"referal may confuse younger folk, older ones will get it.

Congress is a "living" organism. Just like each other we should not take each other seriously but be flexible to see what each other are going to do next.

It doesn't matter what you call it when you have greed and corruption driving the process. I am writing a book on Ethics so any help you can provide will be much appreciated. I think this is a good blog for this request. I know we differ in our views and opinions but I believe your hearts are in the right place and in the end that's what matters. My reason is simple - just look around you and there is your answer. please pass on your positive contribution (no negative stuff) to robken16@gmail.com Thank you...Robert

Why, if there wasn't anything to worry about, we might forget about them altogether. I think the quote is even more true for the media -- just count how many times we are 'warned' during a single 30 minute newscast -- fear is the easiest emotion to instill in the masses and get them clamoring for 'someone' to do something (just as was planned by those who instilled the fear to begin with).

If we took congress seriously we would not have the one we have now.
