Sir Winston ChurchillSir Winston Churchill, (1874-1965) Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1940-1945, 1951-1955)

Famous Sir Winston Churchill Quote

“From the days of Spartacus, Weishophf, Karl Marx, Trotski, Belacoon, Rosa Luxenburg, and Ema Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th Century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.”

Was old Winnie refering to himself and his co-conspiriters? Would be really interesting, had he named his other buddies!

Sparticus was just bored. Karl Marx wanted to be one of the Marx Brothers, but wasn't funny enough. And Rosa resented her last name.

Plutocrat that he was, it is no wonder he considers anyone who works for justice and a better world a subversive.

It seems that neither side of the ideological spectrum from the laissez faire purists to the communistic-socialist purists ever allows themselves to stray from their 'religion' of ideology long enough to take a practical approach to serving the needs of the society they wish to influence. There are functions that are best done in common by government and there are functions that are best done by individuals. The trick is finding the proper (most efective and least burdensome) mix of the two and then being willing to 'tune' the mix as the results are evaluated. Bureaucracy however, by it's very nature, is the often concrete like, overwhelming inertia that prevents the 'tuning' of this mix.

For once a conspiracy that I can sink my teeth into. He is talking about socialists working to take over. The constant drum beat of class envy as caused more death and destruction in the last few hundred years than any other form of hatemongering. Our country is on the verge of being controlled by it and it isn't going to be pretty when it happens. Chances are the destruction will be successfully blamed on the ones we are being told to hate when it is only hate to blame. He was great.

If the statement is in reference to world implementation of socialism or other deviate oppression by a small oligarchical few, namely the world bankers and other collusionary patrons of the dark, it is absolutely true.

I don't believe Churchill said this.

Churchill knew of what he spoke.

Indeed! look at your history books why he didn't want to sign the treaty at Yalta. Churchill wanted a free Europe and pressed for free elections and democratic governments in Eastern Europe. If Roosevelt agreed, Stalin would have had no choice as the US and GB had its forces in place as leverage.
