Wells quote Waffler, my how you defend communism. Leave them alone? That's what i've wanted for myself and my family for a very long time and have asked nicely even in a nice polite courtroom setting and when nicely crushed, (with a smile on the government faces), I learned my lesson well. Our government, better yet, your government is out to not let anyone have control of their lives back as nature and nature's god has deemed it to be. Leave them alone? The question is will these arrogant elite ever leave me and others who know of what I speak alone? Nice just doesn't cut it anymore. 1 Reply Anon 12/3/09 re: General Mark Clark quote Well gee waffler, what do you call it when government takes over business and becomes a profit partner within say, the banking industry? How about the auto industry? Wow, the health industry is next. What type of government do these actions create? Pity me if you wish as I've already said it doesn't matter what anybody thinks of me. It is only BOTH sides of the story that really counts because only then can truth be discerned. Of course you can continue your semantic word game over the word "perhaps" which is, as always, your choice. 3 Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Martin H. Fischer quote Abundance is what is promised to all, luxury is the abundance of all, gathered under the control of those who want it all short of what is needed to keep their slaves producing. This is also the division between selfishness for what one has honestly worked for and greed for those who take what they haven't worked for, for their illicit gain even if accomplished under color of law, or simply put, legalized plunder. Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Edward Said quote I have to laugh at this one Waffler. Off topic? That puts a simple end to a matter you are afraid to discuss. I'm tempted to use it myself to dismiss some points you might raise but then again, to me, that would be intellectual dishonesty. Great point Mike. Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Kenneth D. Wells quote J Carlton, thank you and the same Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. May the freedom and love Jesus spoke of once again garner strength and steadfastness in you and your loved ones intellect and hearts leading to a greater understanding of the Creators love for all his creation as our forefathers were once on that 'path' to understanding. Too bad we let ourselves (for the most part) be led from it but in the end things have a way of working out for the good. It's truly said that every cloud has a silver lining. Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Kenneth D. Wells quote Waffler, you are great at avoiding points of issue as it was others I was speaking of and not yourself. Anonymous, What the international elite are is a combination of methods all the evil types of government that have existed in the past used in a novel way. This is a first time world event where the control of EVERY government in the world is at stake. Theirs is a withches brew of all the old methods of enslavement used in such a way as never before seen on this earth because it wasn't possible until now. Since it is a world system I have no argument with calling it "the system of the beast" because it is one centrallized (and becoming more so everyday) hub that is pulling the centralization strings ever tauter. Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: General Mark Clark quote Waffler, I wouldn't, as I haven't in the past nor will in the future, cared about what people think of me or my neighbor until both sides of the story are heard. Trouble begins when only one side of the story is given an ear while the other is buried because it is branded McCarthyism pure and simple and on that ground alone, anything after that deserves NO attention. Lo and behold the result is exactly what the neo communofascist promoter desires, a taboo word that almost automatically throws doubt on any who has another side of the story that just MIGHT make people think for themselves. Of course we all know that you and your one world heroes and man gods prefer the type that doesn't think for themselves therefore why the huge effort by the main stream media to keep the other side of the story from being heard by too many? Even you yourself would would ban ANY other view than your McCarthyist one once the word is used. Your only fooling yourself if you think there was any nobility to that post of yours I am responding to. You haven't fooled me. Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Reuben Blades quote Waffler, I agree with you this time, wow, you're right, Al Gore IS an ignorant nose thumber. Right on Waffler! 1 Reply Anon 12/2/09 re: Brock Fiant quote Logan, I agree, well said. If you don't keep a man (woman) distracted, they might actually stop to think of reality rather than the mindtrap called entertainment or for what is most simply escapism from the facts of life. Reply Anon 12/1/09 re: Kenneth D. Wells quote Waffler, stuff it, freedom of religion my ass. Then you tell me why people are afraid of saying merry CHRISTMAS now days. Shops won't put up ANY religious meaning decorations for fear of being sued and at the very least offending a potential customer. Maybe we should all start chanting merry winter festival? What of the offended Christian who's day has become everything except what it started out as which is a day to remember WHERE we got our ideals of individual freedom from which in case you have forgotten, are the natural laws of our creator that a wise man called JESUS pointed out to us. Does any of this offend you Wafler? I hope so because to be honest, I am sick and tired of those like you who keep telling me to be nice to any and all who are raping our country of its heritage all for the power hunger of an elite who are in fact psychopaths who have the masses thinking they know what is best for the world and all who live in it. They keep saying it and things get worse. The worse it gets the more the "unthinkers" (your favorite people) seek answers from these psychopaths and the iron fist closes more tightly. If I don't know you, and you don't have a clue what is the right choice for me then you tell me, how in hell does an elite minority of power hungry psychopaths have any clue whatsoever of what is best for me or for anybody else for that matter? Tell me Waffler, where does that stunning ability come from? This I do know, there are many choices in life I would have made for my own LEGAL and MORAL betterment but because of some LAW that removes that FREE CHOICE from the realm of my life, I either like it or lump it according to these mighty masterly rulers who are supposed to be my servants to begin with! Like I've said before, America aint seen nothing yet. 1 Reply Anon 12/1/09 re: General Mark Clark quote Waffler, as to discernment, it's about time people stopped looking in the "perhaps not" direction. It does my heart good to see it. It's obvious you would prefer those that are "unthinking" to stay that way which is the way they have been lulled to sleep over these last hundred years as the bankers plans come to fruition. What's wrong with the "unthinkers" given some stimulus to get them thinking again? Reply Anon 11/30/09 re: Kenneth D. Wells quote Communism, facism, or caring socialism under the guise of democracy, call it what you want it makes no difference. America aint seen nothin' yet. As long as good men do nothing. L Gordon, hear hear! Chins up. J Carlton, you are definitely on the right track there as the things they want you to fear keep adding up. 1 Reply Anon 11/30/09 re: General Mark Clark quote Robert, Houston......."We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism." Nikita Krushchev. When are you going to wake up? 1 Reply Anon 11/30/09 re: Garrison Keillor quote This quote does make one think doesn't it. Speaks lots about the false faces put on by politicos on both sides of the one world coin in that they can do anything and everything criminal and then say oops, I made a grave error based on bad judgement but hey guys, forgive me, I'm only human and of course you know I wouldn't do anything to deliberately hurt you or our nation. Right? Need I say this post in written in extreme sarcasm? Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Molière quote Right Mike, they are arrogant madmen and when attempts are made to stop them as their power grows, their true nature, sociopathic psychopaths will be more blantantly revealed to everyone, especially those who refuse to bend to their will or should I say refuse to bow down and worship them. Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Norman Douglas quote People fear the truth because in order to see and understand it around them, they first have to face the truth of their own irresponsibilities that allow this tyranny to expand. It is the truth about themselves they are afraid of. Once faced there is nothing else to fear. Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Edmund Burke quote And Waffler, as the quote says, the sophisters have succeeded...for now. 1 Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Martin H. Fischer quote Yes anonymous, but don't even try to pretend our government operates under this criteria. Wasn't it only ten years ago the pentagon"lost" 3 trillion because of computers that couldn't communicate with each other? And let's not forget the new transparency promised by the new administration that has them meeting behind closed doors so the masters can't see all the good things our servants are up to for our benefit. 100% sarcasm intended. The self centered thieves are running our government and no argument will keep the truth buried. Truth is all that matters. Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Milton Friedman quote Hi ho Hi ho, to the welfare line I go, Hi ho Hi ho. Whistle while you work has become whistle while you wait....for your handout. 3 Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Martin H. Fischer quote Bureaucracy is the ultimate drain on any society. The wealth of a nation pays its 'leaders' to produce nothing but laws and the bigger government gets the more bloated the unproductive bureauracracies get. Its called suffocation by the weight of the fat asses who prefer cushy jobs and are justified by saying I'm here to help you. Reply Anon 11/27/09 re: Friedrich Nietzsche quote Not once have I heard any compassion or the thought a beggar might truly be in need. The poor will always be with us and though this is no excuse to tinker with the rights of others or to force welfare laws on these same people, charity, by an individuals own choice, should rule the day in doing for the needy. The hypocrisy of religions that preach about this but then lock their doors to keep thieves and beggars out tells the story. Ken, I agree some look at that situation as a lazy mans way of acquiring money and once I have offeered a sandwich instead of money and he wouldn't take it. His loss because sometimes that single act of charity can change a beggars way of thinking after a talk with him about his predicament. But, one never knows until he tries and for so many it is easier to walk by and justify that by considering the beggar an annoyance. 4 Reply Anon 11/25/09 re: Frederic Bastiat quote Mike, full agreement from myself. Reply Anon 11/25/09 re: Erich Fromm quote How true, robots only know and do what they're programmed to do and that's what's happening to the average American today. They are blindly doing what their told because they don't have the ability nor the 'other side' of the story to base a decision on and so only know to do what their told to do by those who claim to have all the answers. 1 Reply Anon 11/25/09 re: Marcus Aurelius quote Waffler, I have lived under government controlled health systems in more than a couple of countries and I've heard your rhetoric before in different words by different people. The proof is in the pudding and if you will take the time to see what this global economic situation has done to their healthcare you will see it being decimated by cost cuts in not only healthcare but education and public services such as police and every other program the government has its fingers in. More options? I laugh. As soon as government has its foot in the door with the health program being shoved through the legislature any way they can it is only a matter of time before government increases its power and before long determines every aspect of health care. History proves this if one takes the effort to seek out the facts. Wake up Waffler, are you ignoring how much medicare and medicaid are in debt just like every program in every brach of government today. Socialists! Praise the program and it leaders in spite of the facts. Again, the blinded being led by the blind. 1 Reply Anon 11/25/09 re: James Madison quote Exactly Mike, those like Waffler refuse to admit rule of law means rule of the natural law that support the individual freedom of man. They like to think and teach the rule of law is any law man creates whether an individuals rights are considered or not.If the law passes it's as if God has spoken and the law was written in stone and eternal as long as man enforces it over other men.
