Asset forfeiture prior to a fair trial and conviction is an abomination and in violation of the 4th Amendment.

We need the Fair Tax to replace the income tax.

The states gave some power to the Feds when they agreed to the Constitution, and they said that the federal power would be supreme in those limited instances.  Now, the Feds decide what powers they want and that their power is supreme in ALL instances they choose.  The states have no voice in the rulings.

So, am I supposed to conclude that there is moral equivalency among the various cultures?  There is not even moral equivalency between our culture today and what it would be if we got rid of the monopoly our government has on "education."

And de-mob-ocracy hasn't worked very well in America.  We had a republic until de Tocqueville and others changed it.

Some say that "assault rifles" aren't covered by the 2nd Amendment because the founders didn't contemplate anything much more powerful than muskets. Did they contemplate TV, radio, telegraph, email, Twitter, etc. when they wrote the 1st Amendment?

Our DC employees believe they are entitled to unequal rights under the law. They didn't like being employees and fully intend to solidify their status as masters.

This Amendment also provides that citizens can bear arms regardless of what a militia is.

The "wonderful" president Abraham Lincoln sure squashed the quaint idea in the Declaration of Independence that for the powers of government to be just, they need the consent of the governed.

I disagree with Anonymous and say that toleration DOES mean the same as acceptance and non-response to many people, and the quote can be misleading. Edmund Burke said it best, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” And someone else said, "Not all ideas are created equal."

The two concepts are so similar, I have no idea why communists and fascists fought each other in Spain. They sure get along well in America.
