The only foundation of "Right makes Might" that makes any sense at all, would be ones responsibility under natural law that obligates us first to be responsible for ourselves, then our family, next our community and finally our government. It starts and ends with the "individual" and individual rights and responsibility's...to one's self. In this way, and only in this way will we be free and liberated individuals living in a free and liberated nation. It's only right...and that is a very powerful morality that will always win out over dictators and "Globalists".

It has taken many years to dumb down the American people, but the endeavour is almost complete. Hanson makes a good point, but every administration since 1913 has been escalating greater control and Leviathan government...that includes the left. America really needs to restore itself as a Constitutional Republic, end the socialist policies of the left, the crony capitalism of the right, and the nation building and social engineering of both.

I am also a little dubious of the quote. The use of the term "person" when referencing "people", has been somewhat bastardized in legal terms to exercise greater control over "individuals". Black's Law Dictionary defines "person" as: "A man considered according to the rank he holds in society, with all the rights to which the place he holds entitles him, and the duties which it imposes. A human being considered as capable of having rights and of being charged with duties; while a "thing" is the object over which rights may be exercised. - Artificial Persons. Such are as created and devised by law for the purposes of society and government, called "corporations" or bodies politic. - Natural Persons. Such as are formed by nature, as distinguished from artificial persons, or corporations. - Private Person. An individual who is not the incumbent of an office..." So who do you think they are taxing and or prosecuting? The individual, the corporation, the artificial person, the natural person or the private person? This is exactly why we need a Justice System...not a Law System.

Sinse it seems to be a topic of discussion, I'd like throw in a clarification of what "Income tax" really is. Far too many of us believe that Income tax is used to maintain or creat infrastructure, ie: build roads, hospitals etc... It is not. Infrastructure is implemented by the Government taking loans from the Federal Reserve, Bank of Canada, England, Australia and so forth. None of these institutions are owned by the Governments there. These Central Banks are all branches of the World Bank, all of which is privately owned. In other words we borrow money for literally everything from private bankers loyal to no country. This money is invented from thin air and has no inherent value. BUT! The arrangements is and has always been that the Private bankers would collect the debt directly from the tax payers through the various tax collection agencies which are also not owned by any Government and are beholden only to the (private) Central Banks. And your income tax dollar goes only to service the "interest"...let that sink in...the interest on the loans that came out of thin air. We are being forced to give up our income to a group of private Bankers who invented the money loaned in the first place. It's a Ponzi Scheme of the highest order. End the Fed...... If anyone has any corrections or further input, I welcome it.

Hanson, you are definately on to something there. Having Corps. operate within a system of Justice as opposed to a system of Laws would be a great start. And since the Government itself behaves as a Corporate entity that can (irresponsibly) print all the money it wants while charging it back to the electorate...let's start there! :)

Communism is being practiced very much here. It is not up to the state to teach sex ed. or homosexuality in schools to pre pubescent children. In fact it is an abomination of everything moral. 5 stars for the editor and thumbs down to the concept.

Any economist who subscribes to tax and spend economics is either a moron or a criminal...probably both. For example, the Prime Minister of Canada has not one, but two degrees in economics yet participates in bail outs...money printing. And it has a catchy little phrase too. "Canada's Economic Action Plan" which is straight up inflation and devaluation of the currency.

Mike and Dr. Tom, Social Security was initiated during the Great Depression. People from the Government were literally "working the soup lines" selling SS to people who were desperate for security of any kind even the opportunity to dig ditches only to fill them back in under Government programs, in order to recieve a check so they could feed their families. It was a trick to create dependence and expand taxation. And given the circumstances...it worked very well.
