Mike, excellent explanation of why government should stay out of caring for the people and allow the people to care for the people. I've always known that the common people/private sector worked together better to help each other than when the government was trying to run the help (we saw it with Katrina vs. the Tennessee flooding). While I've always know this to be true, I'm not sure I thought it through to the reasoning of why...and you did that so very well.
