E Archer, NYC I'm so sorry for everything this pathetic Progressive-Socialist is putting Canadians through.
My mother was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and I spent a lot of my childhood Summer's and many a Christmas holiday and beautiful Canada with my Canadian family.

This does not hold true with our "Simon Legree" Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer!

James Bovard has eloquently stated an absolute truth.

Down with "the Communists, socialists, fascists, and modern liberals!"

Mary, MI

This is what the Socialist Democrats (Such as Bernie Sanders) want to inflict on what they consider to be their subjects!

Very descriptive examples of the poisonous Congressmen Adam Schiff, and Jerry Nadler, as well as Congressman Chuck Schumer, and last but not least, Congressman Nancy Pelosi.

Robert, St. Emilion, France — Your remark is oh so very sadly quite true.

This quote from Woodrow Wilson is a very good illustration of his deliberate mindset to Rule by Force and Dominate the individual through his own and along with his despotic peers' fractious laws.

“Ideologies aren't all that important. What's important is psychology. The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That's why I became an operative working with Democrats. WithDemocrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd. Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don't have a clue as to political reality. What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want. The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican wasbecause there were more Democrats that didn't have a cluethan there were Republicans. Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you're smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That's why I'm a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”

I'm with you Mike, Norwalk, James Carville has truly displayed himself to be an utterly insanely sick human being.

Maximus, Texas You truly are thoroughly misinformed.
The Rev. Martin Luther KingJr., was never by any means a Communist.
"Just months after the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, it is worth remembering that King explicitly denounced Communism.

“During the Christmas holidays of 1949 I decided to spend my spare time reading Karl Marx to try to understand the appeal of communism for many people. For the first time I carefully scrutinized Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto,” he wrote. “I also read some interpretative works on the thinking of Marx and Lenin. In reading such Communist writings I drew certain conclusions that have remained with me as convictions to this day.”

Then King listed the three reasons he could never accept Marxism.

“First, I rejected their materialistic interpretation of history. Communism, avowedly secularistic and materialistic, has no place for God,” he wrote.

Marx’s theory of “dialectical materialism” (and the conjoined theory of “historical materialism”) instead envisioned the human race as a one-dimensional economic creature.

“Second, I strongly disagreed with communism’s ethical relativism. Since for the Communist there is no divine government, no absolute moral order, there are no fixed, immutable principles; consequently almost anything – force, violence murder, lying – is a justifiable means to the ‘millennial’ end,” he wrote.

The second point, closely related to the first, recognizes that anyone who rejects transcendence and revelation must, by extension, deny any universally binding morality. The world then becomes a patchwork of competing moralities, begging the strong to impose their will upon the weak. King consistently disowned those who spoke of prevailing in their political cause “by any means necessary.”

“Third, I opposed communism’s political totalitarianism. In communism, the individual ends up in subjection to the state. … And if man’s so-called rights and liberties stand in the way of that end, they are simply swept aside,” King wrote. “His liberties of expression, his freedom to vote, his freedom to listen to what news he likes or to choose his books are all restricted.”

“Man becomes hardly more, in communism, than a depersonalized cog in the turning wheel of the state,” King concluded."

"But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime." -- Frederic Bastiat
