It seems to me that the quote is refering to ones "guardian angel". I agree with the quote. I think it's sound advice for those who will listen.

I agree that essential support and encouragement comes from within. To begin with anyway. The rest of this quote after those words makes no sense to me.

Individualism is our only real choice in life.We can be no other person than ourselves even if we are trying to be like someone else.Many people have similiar opinions about different things and our thoughts maybe influenced by the words or actions of others but there is still an aspect of Individualism present in each of us.Maybe there are some people that fit into the guidelines of the quote above but I would not say that MOST people do.

I can't identify with this quote."Fear of freedom of self-hood" makes no sense to me.We all are our own selves.

I've crossed paths with people who thrive on being insincere with others. I guess it somehow makes a small mind feel big/more powerful or important because they have put another person down. I would bet that acting in an insincere way to another person would take a lot of energy out of a person who is genuinely sincere. The genuineness of the person would dictate the genuineness of the sincereity, in my opinion.

All people are responsible for their actions whether moral or not.Free Will is a precondition of all responsibility (in my opinion) for without Free Will,there is only action born of coercion and I don't believe that people should be held 100% accountable for their actions performed out of coercion but I agree that Free Will is a precondition of Responsibility,moral or not.
