As an American, I deeply regret not having the chance to vote for her! I've never heard that Jay was the First President of the United States though. I've heard John Hanson was. Does anyone have an authoritative reference? Reply Peter, Detroit 9/30/05 re: Rep. Elbridge Gerry quote I thought I'd never agree with one from Massachusetts on guns again! Reply Peter, Detroit 9/30/05 re: James Bovard quote Bobby from Knoxville claims they didn't hurt anyone. Tell that to the dead at Waco! 10 Reply Peter, Detroit 9/30/05 re: Patrick Henry quote The 2nd Amendment was not put there for crime. It was put there so people could match the fire power of any tyrannical government. Patrick Henry's comments convey this critical point. 31Reply Peter, Detroit 3/8/05 re: Alexander Hamilton quote Hamilton's quote demonstrates that our form of government is not nor was ever intended to be a democracy. His classifying society into non-racist groups but economic groups and the political implications and consequences of doing so is a way of thinking that has become foreign to most Americans. Nevertheless, giving any group a permanent seat in government reveals Hamilton's monarchial tendency, whch was not even embraced in his own time. 51Reply Peter, Detroit 2/9/05 re: Thomas Jefferson quote Frank from Oldsmar forgets that Jefferson lived before the creation of the Federal Reserve. In Jeffersons time the government only issued gold and silver coin in payment of its debt. The exchange rate is not all you need to know between two fiat and tyrannical systems (Euro v Dollar). 3 Reply Peter, Detroit 2/9/05 re: James Madison quote The implications of this quote to our fiat based money system, which is, itself, unconstitutional, is profound. See Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5. Read "The Creature from Jekyl Island" for in depth clarification SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
