Members of Congress live the good life and retire rich for doing worse than these two. Roger clemens was tried in court for lying to Congress while this fine group lies daily to the American people, and naturally, they are usually re- elected.

This sounds a lot like the liberals in our government, always wanting to solve the debt problem by "soaking the rich". Question: If you need a job, would you go to the nearest poor person or maybe to someone with some money ? Here in Austin we have Michael Dell of Dell Computers, a very rich man. He has provided good products and jobs for thousands of people. Raising taxes on "the rich" will not solve any part of the debt we have but will, as always happens with government, make matters worse

When things go wrong , it's always good to blame society. It seems that a large number of people in this country refuse to own their mistakes and always blame someone else for their misfortunes. Judges appointed by the president are there for life. This needs to be changed. I suggest that their appointment be for someyhing like 5 years and after that they must be subject to an election of the people, otherwise you get idiots like Kagen.

When laws are of themselves bad, such as laws spawned by the so-called war on drugs, that's when jury nullification needs to be used. No judge will ever tell a jury of this option.

Imminent domain is one of the most popular methods being used today. Restrictive licensing laws are another method to prevent people from doing business. Here's a good one, If the cops find one hemp plant anywhere on your property they can and will take your property. Hemp was so useful in many products that some of the original States required that citizens grow a certain amount. Now you go to jail for growing it or even having a leaf or seed in your possession, plus having your property confiscated. Nixon instituted this war on drugs in 1970 and now our jails are full of non-violent offenders. His war on drugs is 100 times worse than anything he did at Watergate.
