I defer to Washington (or was it Jefferson?) who said the Republic (and its people) could best be served by a revolution every twenty years - turf out all the existing politicians (and bureaucrats - especially the bureacrats) and instal a fresh slate.

It is notable that in the late 1800s the exam to pass out of primary school in Kansas was so tough that today's university graduates consistenly flunk it. Who stole the 'Little Red Schoolhouse'? The answer: John Dewey of the Rockefeller-sponsored University of Chicago. Dewey is the alleged "father of modern education" - also as a Communist-Socialist. In any event Dewey's system of education has proven to be a traitorous flop. We need a return to the quality of the Little Red Schoolhouse system!

Whoa there, editor. I never used the quote alleged to me. I did write "once Americans lose their reliance on God the American Republic will be no more" - and if de Tocqueville never said it, then I claim it. And what I wrote is true.

John-Douglas, Nassau

Nope, none at all! The maxim quoted does work very well indeed - for dictators, plutocrats, theocrats, bureaucrats and those seeking power over others.

The state is an invention of man, who deemed it necessary to protect the individal ciizen's property, life, and freedom. Thanks to perverted politicians the state has turned into a Frankenstein which seeks to oppress the citizen at every opportunity! Banish the state and what have you got? A lot of happy people and frustrated, self-serving politicians and bureaucrats.

John-Douglas, Nassau

Tocqueville also said (I paraphrase) that once Americans lose their reliance on God the American Republic will be no more. So, welcome to the New World Order - the political-economic Weapon of Mass Destruction! By the way, have you surrendered your gun(s) lately?

John-Douglas, Nassau

Just one of the worst. It ranks right up there with 'talking heads' and fake news.

He who pays the piper calls the tune. And who has most of the gold now? - the World Bank and the Rothschilds. So guess to whose tune most of the world is now dancing?

And those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat their mistakes and ignore their successes. But, since when is honest and/or real history taught in the schools of America? The teaching community appears to be more concerned with propagating the onerous and questionable religion of evolution! What fools most mortals be!

John-Douglas, Nassau

Well said/spoken/written - whatever. It is unfortunate, however, so many Americans are too spiritless for any noble form of embeddiment.

I think it is about time to burst Bush's self-confessed "bubble" (ringed with neo-coms) so he can be warned of exactly where he is really leading America - or does he want to? America needs more Jeffersons and Washingtons and Adams - more so than ever before if the Republic is to be saved.

John-Douglas, Nassau

I wonder, does Bush have combat boots made of clay?

John-Douglas, Nassau

Thanks to the Patriot Act and its amendments or add-ons, Americans are now in the suppression stage. The question now is, are you prepared to regain your freedom? Semper fi!

John-Douglas, Nassau

How very, very true - and how tragic!

Bastiat had his eyes open and his brain in gear. The 'state' is nothing but a mere invention, conceived by some men to exercise control over others (like what is happening in USA today). PROOF of the uselessness Of the state as we know it today? IF THE US GOVERNMENT WERE TO VANISH OVERNIGHT - THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE (AND PROBABLY BETTER OFF)THE NEXT DAY.

John-Douglas, Nassau

UNTRUE -- What do you think humanity did for thousands of years before money was invented? (Answer - Barter) And this is still being used today - even in America!

So much for comic book historians. There was a Warburg who drew up the Federal Reserve Act - and then was the Fed's first chairman. He was paid $500,000 (half a millinon 1910 US dollars) to get a central bank established in the USA. Of course he was an employee of the Rothschilds at the time - they own 50+ percent of the Fed's share. I wonder if the Warburg referred to here was a Nazi. He was too young, I think, to be involved in the Jekyll Island (Fed Reserve) conspirarcy. Like, who pays a 15-year-old kid half a milllion bucks to draft legislation which would sabotage the economy of the USA? Not the Rothschilds!

John-Douglas, Nassau

IT'S A NATIONAL SHAME THERE ARE NOT MORE MEN IN CONGRESS TODAY WITH THE HONESTY AND GUTS OF MR CHOATE. RON PAUL, MD, CONGRESSMAN FROM TEXAS IS THE ONLY WORTHY PERSON OF WHOM I CAN THINK. WHY AREN'T THERE MORE?

John-Douglas, Nassau

Interest-free money is what the US government is supposed to be issuing - the Fed is enaged in a consitutionally illegal act - as its creators (Senator Aldrich, J.P. Morgan, and Paul Warburg) darn well knew! I think the national debt to the Fed should be resolved by a 'bill of exchange' (considered to be legal tender in many countries) signed by the President. Then he should issue a presidential order dissolving the Fed and the INS

John-Douglas, Nassau

I think Sarasota Bob is a wee bit out of date - the current enslavement of the American people began back in 1913 after the Federal Reseve Act, drafted by an employee of the Rothschilds, was passed into law. The Rothschilds (owners of the Bank of England) paid a Mr Warburg (of German origin) a salary of $500,000 (that was in 1913 dollars!) to ensure the Americans adopted a central banking system. Warburg actually became the first chairman/governor of the Fed.

John-Douglas, Nassau

Hey! Some of you are starting to see the light! But, who controls the Federal Reserve? The Rothschilds of England who own better than 50 percent of the Fed's shares. Hence the USA is under the real governance of foreign bankers! As Mayer Rothschild, founder of the Rothschild banking dynasty, once remarked - he didn't care who formed the government as long as he controlled the money supply. And that is the way life has been for almost two centuries all sround the world in virtually every country which has a central bank.

John-Douglas, Nassau

Hey! Don't forget the IRS and the Federal Government! They deserve some of the credit. And gullible, misinformed, self-interested American citizens deserve the rest of the credit for allowing the Leninization of the USA to happen!

John-Douglas, Nassau

And who do you think owns the majority of shares in the Federal Reserve? Foreign Banking dynasties (Rothschilds own 51-52 percent of the Fed while Rockefellers own around 7 percent)own the Fed and rake in its profits while the American people own zero percent - but contribute 100 percent of the profits!
