The quote is dead-on true. God blessed us all with the choice of right and wrong--and we'll have heaven as a reward or hell to pay for our choices--both here on earth and afterwards. Trouble is, Americans have increasingly have done what they damn well please for the past 40 years until its become the status quo. Now we're facing the consequences. Pretty simple, folks.

Simple and straightforward--regardless of the source. Sad and frightening that some can't appreciate the guidance that is offered in this statement and apply it to their own lives. Who will cry and why will they cry when you are gone?

Perhaps because the "aborigine" doesn't concern himself with images, materialism or societal standing. He relies on his wits, common sense and basic need for survival. Pull the plug on Western civilization and it would be the end. We couldn't think (or fight) ourselves out of a wet paper bag.

Ahh, how quickly we forget. Weren't we attacked in 2001 with our pants down. Fat and ignorant Americans bumbling behind an administration that groomed us to be that way? And aren't we ignorant to point our troubled fingers at just one or two in the white house, when it's the entire Congress--that WE elected--that ultimately calls the shots. Biblical. The question is, how many of us are willing to call ourselves fools?

And that's why we need a good understanding of the rest of the world. Most Americans have no clue (or care) about other countries. The world knows more about us than we do about them. Our ignorance and arrogance will be our demise.

Excellent insight by a founding father and excellent reasoning for fighting any defense on foreign soil rather than right here at home. Always prepare for the train wreck...but pray that it never happens. Americans need to get this philosophy through our thick, lazy minds.

Warren, I'll have the balls to back you. This quote drips with Clinton (and some of you, too.) For eight year Bubba and the Bag had us believing we were living the life while he was making underhanded deals. They fed us candy and stroked our bellies to make us miss it all. Bush has spent the last 7 years cleaning up the mess. This whole nation needs a good, sound spanking. God Bless the Troops!
