Excellent advice from both, I think. Reply luigi, Fort Worth 6/18/10 re: John E. McLaughlin quote In a legal court of law (or when you are speaking with any police officer, for that matter) get caught in just ONE lie, and nothing you say afterwards carries a whit of weight. After that, you may as well stop talking. Reply Luigi, Fort Worth 6/17/10 re: Georg Cantor quote "The sixties were like a big UFO landing. Lots of people heard of it, but few actually saw it." Quote of Bob Dylan Well, what the "lots" didn't see is all around us now. The radical communists that were rioting at the '68 Dem. Convention are now, and have been for 20 years (at least) inside the government. It was accomplished Alinsky style and, like the UFO, few actually saw it manifest. It was like waiting for the morning dew. You never see it come, until it's all around you. Seems that the generation that lived thru the bank failures of the Great Depression and WWII, plus the following few enjoying the false, fiat money, prosperity let us down. I see no indication that the present generation have ANY inkling of the horror that is about to overtake this nation with the (behind closed doors created) North American Union being superimposed upon this great, once sovereign, nation, Reply Luigi, Fort Worth 6/16/10 re: Marcus Tullius Cicero quote A little too cerebral for a YOUNG child, but a good answer to the child which asks "Why do I need to study history, anyway?" Never a problem for me since, for dome reason, I found the study of history beyond the public school "swill" completely entertaining. Still do, and I appreciate that there are many others that find it so. Reply Luigi, Fort Worth 6/3/10 re: General George S. Patton, Jr. quote While an excellent General, George was capable of stupid statements like this. Sheesh! Go figure. 1 Reply Luigi, Fort Worth 6/3/10 re: Thomas Paine quote I've heard it said, "Oh, to have men like Thomas Paine today!" While we (with one possible exception) have none in government, rest assured that they exist. Never give in to the Elijah syndrome" and think they are gone. The problem, so far, is "How could they ever find each other in sufficient numbers to effect a positive affect?" I don't know the answer, but I do know that throughout history, no matter how dire the circumstances became, the tyrants, with the Creator's intervention, have always come to dismal failure. This time around, I do believe the "people" are too ignorant to prevent the New World Order's establishment. It will only last but a few years. Probably seven at most, then, as always, the curtain will fall and "break it to pieces." You can't control the masses, but you CAN stay unmoved yourself. It won't be easy. But, then, it never has been. For the few that survive, the peace without their stench will be sweet, indeed. Reply Luigi, Fort Worth 5/28/10 re: Mahatma Mohandas K. Gandhi quote I cannot argue with that particular, possibly out of context, quote. However, before we get too "gaa-gaa" over Gandhi, a little research will reveal him to be a communistic type of emeny of true liberty. He certainly does not belong in the company of such freedom heroes as Patrick Henry, Thomas Paine, James Madison, and a few others we all know. SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
