Adolf Hitler Quote

“How fortunate for governments that people do not think. There is no thinking except in giving and executing commands. If it were otherwise human society could not exist.”

Most people do not think, otherwise we wouldn't have liberals. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. They elect people like Obama and Pelosi.

Ahhh yes, King George the torturer, Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assassin, and the rest of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this once free land's foundational altruistic motto. The original foundation of natural law and acts such as eliminating the central bank exposes this statement as a most heinous lie.

And in every country where fear was used, and is used, to control people, it always ends up failing, with many dead, sad, that so many forget history.

Right on Jim from austin...and, they KNOW it now, many STILL wont admit it, one of the biggest liars ever, was elected to office, we see the results, of a small time player, trying to run a big leauge team.

Totalitarianism in a nut shell. Human beings are no less able to be domesticated than farm animals once we give up thinking and the right of self-defense. We are told what to think -- and any who question or do their own thinking are dismissed by the oppressed and unthinking masses. Funny how we admit that Hitler used Nazi propaganda to keep the people in line, and yet we never think it happens here...

Hitler was right wing, like "jim" and "Mike" and "Kimo". You lot would have voted for him.

No bigger liar and mass murderer than the most infamous right winger there ever was.

Fascism is only to the right of Communism  both are authoritarian and Leftist.  True Liberalism is at the top, authoritarianism is at the bottom.  To the right of leftism is Republicanism, rule of law, not men, not pure democracy but representative republicanism.  Remember that the Nazis were 'nationalist socialist democrats' with Russian communism as their enemy, but they were still socialist democrats which eventually led to voting for dictatorship.

Fascism (so-called right wing) and Communism/socialism (so-called left wing) aren't opposites  they're forms of the same horrible beast called TOTAL GOVERNMENT.
The true indicator of free vs tyrannical governments is a straight line, with total government (fascism, socialism, communism, etc.) on the Left side, and no government (anarchy) on the Right. Freedom and Constitutional government lie to the right of middle. More freedom means less government. More government means less freedom. Both left and right extremes are bad.

Jim from Austin needs to be less one sided and open his eyes to how Hitler's statement really does apply to all of us in the American system. Left, right, whatever, many politicians count on the ignorance of Americans.

This is not a correct statement at all. It's UNFORTUNATE for the governments the population does not think. There is NO society because of the inflexible minds that refuse to grow and develop.  Socialism is the challenge of social abilities to create growth and development.
