Or, in the words of a latter day team playing tyrant “never let a crisis go to waste”. Or, there is no fuel on the East coast so all white males are racist. Or, inflation is spiking out of control so all guns must be controlled out of existence. Or, carbon emissions must be eliminated so all the human trafficking / child abuse / family breakup from border escapades can be considered a non-crisis.
