Dr. Ben Carson Quote

“The more solid the family foundation, the more likely you are to be able to resist peer pressure. Human beings are social creatures. We all want to belong, we all have that desire, and we will belong, one way or another. If the family doesn’t provide that, the peers will, or a gang will, or you will find something to belong to. That’s why it becomes so critical for families with young children to understand what a critical anchor they are.”

I can not adequately rate this with mere stars on any scale. We hold this truth to be self-evident and absolute. Commencing with the family of Man (our Eternal Progenitor being King) through our corporeal nuclear ménage, the family foundation is the founding building block of each/every-any/all societies. In a college economics class, I remember the professor explaining how the family unit was even the pecuniary basis of society's (local to national) financial exercises. By example: if only one individual worked per household, costs would ultimately relate that scenario (cost of home, food, vehicles, etc.) If two persons worked per household, prices would rise to reflect that norm  etc. Study after study has shown, two parent family units that relate with their children have a greater likelihood of educational advancement, mental and physical well being, etc., etc., etc.
