I like it a lot. The narrowly focused observation is a good beginning list of a broader overall topic. A more complete and substantive observation would commence with true spiritual growth (associated intellectual growth would then follow).

The adult always searches for the opportune time for important and advanced discussion. The child, however, desires to live in a atmosphere of continuous game playing. "The game never ends" for the child.  Advanced discussion would result in putting an early end to the playing environment. That's why the child spies.
