Not quite sure how to rate this aphorism. Its accurate on so many levels of so many topics - clothing, academia, economics, politics, religion, etc. This seems to be the rule rather than the always proverbial exception. A thumbs down for the observed rejection of law or, 5 stars for the accurate observation of migrating mores.

And quite often the 'new' fashions are but the 'old' fashions dressed up differently. Mankind still falls for the same traps as he did a thousand years ago. Same as it ever was...
