The mentally healthy provision tells us that mentally ill individuals cannot control themselves. The firearm in the ill's  possession is similar to the abortionist. Its my body "I have a choice." Similarly the firearms owner practices, makes a financial investment, they choose to go out and try to murder someone, "to not waste their investments."  It's their choice and they pursue it. The choices are both not to engage in conjugal relations for the abortionist, and don't invest in the firearms for the other circumstance.  Firearms cannot be put into the hands of the mentally ill, and that's anyone who has the most remote interest in firearms, especially the police. The incident with George Floyd should not ever be forgotten. He was not reportedly shot, but the mentality displayed was simply inhuman. Humans don't need firearms.
