Makes you think about yourself. Sometimes we do the same thing towards other people.

The congress of the U.S. advances by crushing the people under the weight of added laws and taxes. Personally, I'm fed up with being stepped on.

Unfortunately, too often people advance themselves by crushing others. The question is, what kind of advancement is that?

I hope people who are guilty of this will take a moment to do some self-reflections.

A tough one to live by ... and at election-time, impossible. Nonetheless, a nice moral to build into one's life. One doesn't elevate one's self by damaging another's.
