That's possible for folks of the ex Soviet Union, Mike. They did not know how to handle thinking for themselves.

A man's worst difficulties begin when he thinks what he likes is good for him but it's really not.

Ken, Allyn, WA

When a man does what he likes instead of what is right, he deserves what he gets. Everyone else's worst difficulties begin when he compels THEM to do what he likes.

E Archer, NYC

Cute but not universally true. Of course when raising children I realize that giving a child everything he/she wants is a disservice to the child. Without an effort, there is no value to whatever one gets for free or expects for free.
