But women and slaves and those who could not afford poll taxes were kept in a second class for generations until The Constitution was amended. While it did not provide for a second class it did also did not provide for equality.

Yes Waff, why do you keep throwing up old arguments that point out a problem that was at least fixed by amendment. I still argue the amendments weren't necessary but to delete sections that made slavery law in America but for some reason (more control gained) they went the convoluted route instead.

Check your privilege. ;-)  Apparently all white people are racist, but Black people (notice the new writing standard to always capitalize the B in black — it's everywhere now) can never be racist, and can say whatever hateful words they please, but if we don't like it we are white supremacists. (!!)  No one will dare admit that Black-privilege allows a Black person to play the race card anytime their arguments fall on their faces.  Sheesh, when I was in school, the teachers would often repeat "sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me."  Whatever happened to that?  What about judging a person by the content of their character instead of skin color?
