I am no fan of Lincoln. I will spare you a long dissertation of why I think Lincoln was a tyrant. Read "Lincoln Uber Alles"( Lincoln Over All) "Dictatorship Comes to America" and you will see why.

The only tax that I favor is a poll tax. When I first voted in Texas you had to pay a tax, some where around $1:75 in order to vote. This kept a lot of riff raff and no- nothings from voting. An awful lot of these folk have voted in recent elections.

The old saying, never discuss religion and politics pervades this nation, and our family. If we have Thanksgiving with my wife's son and his family, the school teacher and liberal one, I cannot declare that he is an idiot for fear of disrupting dinner and pissing him off.

Naturally the clarion call of liberals is 'Greed". Libs give greed a bad name. If a business man is "greedy", he still needs to hire others and the "others" benefit.

Almost everyone of the members of Congress are lawyers. They may not be practicing or have been disbarred , but they all went to law school.

Liberals are easy targets and worthy of sarcasm and they have little sense of humor. Michael Savage was real close when he said that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Proof of this was when the Soviet Union crumbled , many older Soviet Citizens longed even for the Stalin era because they knew what they had, horrible though it was. They had lived under the iron boot of Communism for most of their lives and were scared as to what to do next.

It's a chance to be better but many other things.

And now our "leaders" are leading us into war with Syria. We will eventually have troops on the ground in Syria and that will be a shame as more American troops will be killed and maimed.
