My favorite Yogi malapropism was this, "Nobody goes there anymore, it's to crowded".

I was a real Yankee fan backwhen they had Dimaggio, Yogi, Mickey, and all the rest. Those were simpler times when you worried about your teams chances, not whether the country was going over a financial cliff of some sort.

This is something our congress doesn't seem to know. Obama knows this but he likes people out of work so more can go on welfare.

Thank goodness we can get a jury trial here in Texas for everything from murder to a parking ticket. Mike's example is pretty commonplace in bench trials.

It isn't Obama being president that is so scary, it's that we have so many people willing to elect him a second time. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on me again.

When you rob Peter to pay Paul you will always have the support of Paul. This works pretty well until Peter runs out of money. Reminds me of the old joke about a cop asking two vagrants how they make a living. The first one says that he borrows money from the second one. The cop then asks number two how he makes a living and he says to the cop, he pays me back. Sounds a lot like our government.

Of course, none of this applies when you have a King like Obama.

We saw a great example of this when Obama care was passed. Over 70% of American citizens opposed it but Nancy , Harry, and the rest of the usual suspects rammed it through anyway.
