Human nature ensures that even if we have a guaranteed income for everyone, some will always take from others, increasing one and lessening the other. In the very basest form of capitalism, Captain John Smith stated, "he who will not work shall not eat." The survival of little Jamestown depended on that, but today in such a huge society, many find his statement untrue with our wonderful social programs.
