Hey Editor, saying that it's from an interview during the 1948 Presidential Campaign without saying interviewed by whom, where, and on what date -- to confirm that Norman Thomas was in that place on that date and that there was such an interviewer -- is no more believable than saying my grandmother, born in 1897, sang for the Pope. (She didn't, of course, but she was born in Italy.)
