You are a perfect example of the quote. 3 Reply warren, olathe 3/16/08 re: Constitution of the Irish Free State quote Logan. Right on. Reason prevails. Reply warren, olathe 3/13/08 re: Ralph Waldo Emerson quote The quote is correct for a true democracy. Fortunately we have modified it enough to make it more difficult for it to make drastic changes in a short amount of time. This enables us to hopefully come to our senses and change course before permanent damage to our country is a result. Cooler head then prevail. We need some very soon. 1 Reply warren, olathe 3/13/08 re: James Russell Lowell quote If we did not have the right to be stupid we would need some one to decide what stupid was. We would also need to be stupid enough to accept it. 1 Reply warren, olathe 3/13/08 re: Benito Mussolini quote Good example of how socialists think. Our "leader's" view of our constitution that you are talking about "Anonymous" was a fictitious quote that was created for propaganda purposes by liars that would truly fit in the mind set of Benito Mussolini. Those pieces of crap are generated in order to confuse and anger people so as to not notice the true threats we face. Reply warren, olathe 3/12/08 re: Bertrand Russell quote Envy is what a socialist/fascist politician uses to pervert the democratic process to take us away from out founder’s intent. It is the emotion that the founding fathers were warning could take over and destroys the country. They acknowledged that the public could eventually vote themselves a piece of the public pie which would devour the freedoms we have. Democracy, or at least our form of it, is not in any way based on envy. It is based on the philosophy that the common moral man can be trusted to participate in self government. To say that democracy is based on envy is to say it is not based on reason. Reply warren, olathe 3/10/08 re: Tom Stoppard quote I do not believe that Hitler was elected to be Germany's leader. He strong armed his way into power from a minority position in the German government. The leaders were afraid of him and kept giving in till it was too late. Kind of like the left and its shenanigans today in the U.S. 2 Reply warren, olathe 3/6/08 re: Thomas Babington Macaulay quote Unfortunately the founding fathers did not figure out how to prevent the feeding frenzy they warned us about. Even though the constitution does not give the congress the right to spend money for purposes of benevolence they do it anyway. Voting ourselves a piece of the public pie will eventually ruin us if we do not find another way to destroy ourselves first. 3 Reply warren, olathe 3/6/08 re: James Fenimore Cooper quote The quote is a good one. True but the alternatives are hideous. We probably have done the best we could by modifying it to be a democratic republic. Unfortunately with the three worst candidates for president in history, mediocrity is looking pretty good. 2Reply warren, olathe 3/6/08 re: Benjamin Disraeli quote Great lets get us a dictator. Then we can have the same thing that this quote is worried about with no way to change it. At least we could blame it all on the dictator and not our choices. Wonder if he would have liked Adolph. Reply warren, olathe 3/6/08 re: Elbridge Gerry quote An idiot. Not an excess. People are duped by liberalism. Period. Reply warren, olathe 3/6/08 re: Dick Cheney quote Cheney didnt say it. Cheney doesn't have any companies. Ron Paul is a buffoon. Wake up. The crap in here is getting moronic Reply warren, olathe 3/5/08 re: Dick Cheney quote If you read the article the quote was lifted from, and you are an informed rational person, you wouldn't believe a thing printed in it. Reply warren, olathe 3/5/08 re: Dick Cheney quote How we gona get a constitutionally minded President this November when none are running Shane? Reply warren, olathe 3/5/08 re: Dick Cheney quote Lousy quote no doubt taken out of context if said at all. Chaney is great. Love him. Great guy. Wish he was president. Reply warren, olathe 3/3/08 re: Thomas Jefferson quote This is great on its literal intention. It speaks of individuals and groups of citizens. It does not apply to external forces or groups that are funded or organized by outside influences such as we have had with communism and terrorism. Reply warren, olathe 3/3/08 re: Constitution for the United States quote It reads that the states are guaranteed it by the fed. To me that mean that the Federal government is assuring a republican form of government on the federal level for the benefit of the states. "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence" This to me is a guarantee by the Fed. Not a mandate from the Fed. Reply warren, olathe 2/29/08 re: Joseph Sobran quote Kennedy was killed by the bank. That's a new one. Was there anyone not involved in the Kennedy assassination? Reply warren, olathe 2/29/08 re: George W. Bush quote This is so obviously not true. The press would have loved this and we would never have heard the end of it if it actually happened. Bush is probably one of the biggest protectors of the constitution in Washington. The powers of the president include such things as the patriot act and much more under times of special needs such as war, subversion, secession, ect. Notice in the description of the phony incident that it says that the Republicans were making a "valid case". This is the terminology used by someone that has an agenda not just reporting what happened. The person claiming this is true says he heard it third hand. This quote was published on a Republican/Bush hating piece of crap web page. This is beneath this site to put it in here or at least I thought so. Makes me wonder what I have read hear and thought was accurate that was not. Any one that knows much about Bush knows that a statement like this would be very unlikely. 1 Reply warren, olathe 2/28/08 re: Robert Nisbet quote Mike, the reason that you see more conservative types doing that type of work is because conservatives see a problem and do something about it. Liberals tend to look for someone to blame and transfer any actions required to government. Any perceived problem is viewed as a political opportunity by liberal politicians. Conservatives see it as a community service opportunity. 1 Reply warren, olathe 2/28/08 re: Neil Cavuto quote Only an absolute idiot could disagree with that quote. Corporations want to sell you on what to eat or wear. The left wants to tell you what to eat or wear Waffler. There is a big difference. 61Reply warren, olathe 2/28/08 re: Norman Thomas quote Mr. Anytown - socialism and fascism are almost indistinguishable in practical application. I doubt that you have any concept of what fascism really is. The quote is so dead on and obviously true. Anyone with any intellect would have figured this out on there own but somebody had to say it. Dougmcr8 - you are right that many see it, but that isn't the point. The point is that the majority in this country will be incrementally duped into thinking that it is acceptable. Between feigning concern for the less fortunate and preaching blind hatred for any one that would insert reason into the equation, the socialists will always get some or all of their agenda into law. Many otherwise conservative people are sucked into the hate the wealthy mentality because they lack the intellect to see through it. This is probably the biggest weapon the left has. Hate the rich, hate banks, hate corporations, and really, really hate big oil. Oil must be hated because energy is the key to the economic engine of a free economy. Socialists believe that all the ills of the world will be solved if we can just destroy the free economy. That is why they flock to and flood every political group out there from environmentalists, animal rights, abortion rights, and human rights. The goal is to get us to give up a little bit at a time. Roger Baldwin is winning. Once the socialists are securely in charge with no ability for their removal all of those "concerns" will simply disappear because they were merely vehicles to be discarded when the real objective is realized. Reply warren, olathe 2/27/08 re: Joseph Sobran quote The newbies are far more for centralized power than Bush ever was. It takes an idiot to believe we are a fascist nation. We have fascists running around here but it is going to take a lot of work to turn the country fascist. 3 Reply warren, olathe 2/26/08 re: Rev. Edmund A.
