"Good news today, apparently an other tax cheat is dead, hallelujah!"---To find joy in the death of anyone is sick to say the least and one of the reasons war continues to be the preferred means to bring peace to the world and because of this line of thought, world peace will never be attained. Reply Anon 2/18/10 re: Friedrich Nietzsche quote Freedom is the result of being willfully responsible to and for ourselves thus being responsble to and for others who are willfully responsible to and for themselves. Reply Anon 2/18/10 re: Charles Kingsley quote Mike, I responded to your remarks in yesterdays Heinrich Heine quote and am letting you know at this time. Thanks. 3 Reply Anon 2/18/10 re: Charles Kingsley quote I agree with jim k. The quote speaks about the freedom to do wrongs upon others and the freedom to do what he ought, the right things to do to others. Each is a choice that everyone has. 1 Reply Anon 2/18/10 re: Heinrich Heine quote Mike, well said. I just want to add that it is because all Americans (Waffler included) are commanded by the laws of nature to first realize that their own personal actions are responsible for the death of American freedom before they can turn around in spirit first and actionnext to fix things as nature would have it. This, as I'm sure you know, is a major humbling experience to a power and intelligence that puts mans' intelligence and abilities to shame. Those like Waffler will never understand because their egos won't allow them to admit anything is more intelligent than them but other men who they put full faith in to save them from financial ruin thus spiritual (the love of money) ruin. These people understand humility not at all and this will be their downfall in the long run. Again well said Mike. Reply Anon 2/16/10 re: William Cowper quote And the most ignorant are the slaves that are happy and contented with a false belief that their master(s) will save them from the further distress that is coming, never even crossing their minds that their master(s) are the actual cause of their distress. Reply Anon 2/16/10 re: Thomas Babington Macaulay quote The immorality that is now rampant throughout the majority of Americans is leading their country into deep water where even if one can swim they'll sink right along with everyone else. I just hope there are enough that have their moral scuba gear handy. Reply Anon 2/16/10 re: Margaret Thatcher quote Thatcher, ever the English politician, neglected to say that people went to America to be free from the influence of corrupt tyrannical government. I'm sure she knew exactly what she was doing when she left that fact out. Reply Anon 2/15/10 re: Alphonse de Lamartine quote Just open ones eyes and take a look around oneself and the self evident truth about the level of corruption in government is easy to see and what became of virtue is even easier to see. Virtue is decimated due to the meglo mania of those hat operate this virtueless system that makes criminals of all men. 2 Reply Anon 2/10/10 re: Henry Giles quote Oh and Waffler, until you understand that reverence means for the rights of the individual you will continue down the road of slavery everytime. 2 Reply Anon 2/10/10 re: Henry Giles quote Well, that can't be said any better than Giles' has said it. Bravo. 2 Reply Anon 2/10/10 re: Henry Campbell Black quote Waffler, when a mans nose meets the nose of another who has the right is determined by the right, not by the guy who has the biggest nose or not by a majority of big noses as your democracy operates. The protection of the right for all individuals wins out at the end of the day and not the majority who just choose to put their money in a pot which is used to buy off politicians whose main duty is to protect the rights laid out and those not laid out in our Constitution but exist nonetheless. A cursory study of the oath of office and its history proves this out. A deeper study reveals the criminality of members of congress that they've been practicing for a very long time. Reply Anon 2/10/10 re: Henry Cabot Lodge quote cal, lewisville, You hit the nail on the head when you said "and give individuals no choices." When no choices are offered this means the individual does not have the liberty to say yes or no and when this happens freedom no longer exists. Just wait until martial law is declared under authority of the patriot act, then the absence of the ability and right to pick and choose will be highly noticible then. 2Reply Anon 2/9/10 re: Fred W. Friendly quote those like Beck and Limbaugh are the puppets installed in anticipation of the upheaval our nation is going through to fool the very "elect" onto the road to perdition. Thank God they will not all be fooled. 1 Reply Anon 1/31/10 re: Albert Einstein quote Marijuana should be legal. If you disagree, you are most probably a person who likes to sip his wine poured in a tall crystal glass to celebrate the actions of a legalized thug arrests a toker who have never harmed anyone. Alcohol is technically a narcotic poison. Marijuana is one of the safest intoxicants known to man. It is called doublethink. You should not disagree with a genius like Einstein. It's futile and your own excrement will come to life to kiss you in your face. I can't wait for the day real justice is served. I'm waiting patiently. Reply Anon 1/10/10 re: Willy Russell quote Sarah, its a little thing called sarcasm. Look it up. 1 Reply Anon 1/2/10 re: Solomon Short quote Well said Archer and add that the acceptance of the truth is the hardest part because the acceptance of the truth begins with the acceptance of the role one plays and has played leading up to the breakdown we see happening around us. This is the point where one has to either accept the truth about ones' own "sins" or decide he has none and go on from there. This is the point of decision that aptly describes the time one has to answer the query 'What master will you follow...God or man'? Many sit on the fence as well but all will have to answer to the same query in someway that calls for nature's justice to be answered to. Reply Anon 1/2/10 re: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. quote I agree with Mike and add that the quote does identify the exact requirements that would establish freedom for all, 1 Reply Anon 1/2/10 re: Vique's Law quote So if a fish has no need for a bicycle a man has no need for religion? That is pretty much hard to understand because what a man believes, even if he believes in no religion thus no god, is still praticing his religion (belief), and if fanatical about his non belief, is the same boat those who believe in a god are in. A man who says there is no god and that religion is a threat to the world, very simply, practices or promotes his belief, thus his religion. I laugh when anybody says he doesn't have a religion and yet propagandizes his belief when ever he opens his mouth of what he believes in. Reply Anon 1/2/10 re: Proverb quote Observation does not necessarily mean wisdom will be the result gained. Truth (self evident) and truth discerned from all knowledge is the best way to gain wisdom and there is much wisdom to be gained from the happenings in current and past events and the truth of why these events occur or occured. Reply Anon 12/30/09 re: Marcus Aurelius Antoninus quote It IS so true. The secret being that one is empowered from birth with the right to freely choose what is the best direction in his/her life but unfortunately has been taught he has no choice to the life he undertakes but is molded through indoctrination centers (schools) into the role individuals play in the game of "Life" created for them by the international elite through the control over the economic lives of eveyones life just like the banker in the board game of "Monopoly." The one hitch is the quote itself. Reality is the change of thought, the result being the creation of what one desires. Start thinking freedom and if you're open to the truth of what is self evident the entrance to the road of the big secret becomes evident as well. The road is called truth and following it leads to more truth exposed and the truth will set you free and freedom is what the bith right of every individual is but..., because of false teachers and leaders by the time one is 18 he is an indoctrinated member of the false reality that has been set up around us by those who seek their freedom and wealth through the enslavement of the rest of us through the criminal economics that if practiced by any others in the world would land them in trouble individually or as a group. How long will America believe in this fallacy that is promoted as reality? Time will tell and we can all be sure of that fact. Reply Anon 12/30/09 re: Latin Proverb quote Does this possibly imply If the servants will not serve, take to the last line of defense, The 2nd Amendment. 1 Reply Anon 12/30/09 re: Frank Murphy quote Foremost above all other rights is the right to freely choose by the individual. Without this first right honored by our Constitution freedom is like whistling in the wind. No freedom of choice then no freedom. It's as simple as all that. 4 stars because it doesn't mention free choice which is paramount to any discussion of freedom, particularly in America, 4 Reply Anon 12/3/09 re: John W. Gardner quote Not only have most human societies been organized to keep good men down, they do it after they've taken what good the man has and twisted and used it to their benefit first, and of course to the detriment of everyone else. Reply Anon 12/3/09 re: Reuben Blades quote Waffler, yeah you're right, I was just practicing what I've learned from watching corrupt poiticians in action. Your compliment is deserved by them, I have to give credit where credit is due. Previous 25 Next 25 SaveOk2 Share on Facebook Tweet Email Print
