“Political liberty is nothing else but the diffusion of power.”

I'm not quite sure how to rate this with stars. The quote is accurate enough when defined in a libertarian sorta way. If in reality, at natural law and as the foundation of all political expressions - all political power derives from the individual; it doesn't get diffused from the top down.

Right, Mike. Is the diffusion 'natural' or regulated? I would say that, naturally, power is already diffused among everyone. It is the regulation of power, the 'distribution' of power, which is the centralization of power that is the threat to liberty.

Without Economic Liberty, there is no political freedom. 

With the sanctioning of true liberty our positive qualities are promoted and enhanced. We develop into even more qualified human beings and grow stronger.
