And thus we have the world we live in. In so many ways, life is a perpetual battle waged on many fronts. Every living creature has to be watchful or get eaten -- all while consuming other living things to survive. Coming to terms with reality would be a good foundation for a developing an ideology that resonates with the song of Nature.

Unfortunately, it seems that those 'fighting for peace' are but fighting for the spoils of war. When an animal will no longer try to avoid predators or even to defend himself against them, it is merely food, and that is its destiny by choice. Same for humankind...
