I think that this goes to show that FDR was indeed a fascist along with Hitler and Mussolini as America has never turned off this road after the New Deal. A perfect example of the law of unintended consequences. I think it's interesting that in the comments this quote garnered either a 0 or a 5 but that every comment itself is pretty much in agreement. I'm assuming the 5 stars simply refer to the fact that here is proof in writing that our fears are well founded about this current administration and the direction our country is headed. I'm sure there are others out there who'd give it five stars because they would actually agree with the philosophy, as long as the source was unknown. It would indeed be interesting to put the quote out there on, for example, MSNBC, without the source and see where the comments went then.

Sounds like a speech from His Lordship Sir Obama, which has fooled most of the people! In bad times there are too many of us willing to except anything put in front of our faces (desperate people in desperate times). I think this quote is excellent. If I had not seen that it had been written by the Socialist Party in 1920, I would have thought it was from Obama, goes to show you how close we are from communism.

I cannot decide whether this nazi/utopian platform was written by "the people" (I doubt it) or The Party (my guess); to me, it seems as though The Party took full advantage of the dire situation, and their powermongers crafted this wily address, in order to wield the gauntlet of tyranny.
