Peter Kershaw Quote

“The Founding Fathers of this great land had no difficulty whatsoever understanding the agenda of bankers, and they frequently referred to them and their kind as, quote, 'friends of paper money.' They hated the Bank of England, in particular, and felt that even were we successful in winning our independence from England and King George, we could never truly be a nation of freemen, unless we had an honest money system. Through ignorance, but moreover, because of apathy, a small, but wealthy, clique of power brokers have robbed us of our Rights and Liberties, and we are being raped of our wealth. We are paying the price for the near-comatose levels of complacency by our parents, and only God knows what might become of our children, should we not work diligently to shake this country from its slumber! Many a nation has lost its freedom at the end of a gun barrel, but here in America, we just decided to hand it over voluntarily. Worse yet, we paid for the tyranny and usurpation out of our own pockets with "voluntary" tax contributions and the use of a debt-laden fiat currency!”

Said well. AND now that the privately held creator of the union's and once sovereign people's (Sovereigns United no more) debt is to be authorized byicollections at the end of a gun, privately run debtor's prisons can't be far behind.

A** hole.

"Thus, if there exists a law which sanctions slavery or monopoly, oppression or robbery, in any form whatever, it must not even be mentioned. For how can it be mentioned without damaging the respect which it inspires? Still further, morality and political economy must be taught from the point of view of this law; from the supposition that it must be a just law merely because it is a law. Another effect of this tragic perversion of the law is that it gives an exaggerated importance to political passions and conflicts, and to politics in general." -- Frederic Bastiat, from "The Law"

Waffler , that was a brilliant response. Name calling, the last refuge of someone who can't think.

Yea right we are so poor. If it were not for banks lending money for homes and business we would all be so very wealthy. Who in their right mind would want to have a job at one of those businesses that started because of an evil bank loan? Better to eat dirt than be successful while enabling some one else to make money partially from your labor. No matter how wealthy you become it is not worth it if some one else made a dime off of your success. Stay poor, happy, and vote for Democrats and believe in conspiracies.

PERCEPTION IS REALITY IF YOU PERCIEVE IT TO BE! WHEN YOU CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT THINGS, THE THINGS YOU LOOK AT CHANGE! TRY IT AMERICA!

TRUE WEALTH IS NOT MEASURED IN DOLLARS. IT IS MEASURED IN SENSE! THINK ABOUT IT.

Excellent! This should be sent to every student in America. Don't blame the Democrats or Republicans, the responsibility is ours and we must wake up out of this apathetic stupor if we are ever to break these shackles. Waffler, ;-) your commitment to your enslavement is clear. Warren, your commitment to ignorance is clear -- the GOP is as much in collusion with this iniquity as the Demos. There is nothing wrong with someone lending something to someone else and charging interest -- there IS somethig wrong when I can simply print up money and loan it at interest, I am making the rest of the money in circulation worth less, and I am making interest on NOTHING. It is legalized counterfeiting with the same consequences.

..laughs.. aww, Waffler, come now son, you couldn't think of anything better to say?

warren, we expect questions / answers out of Waffler like that but, what does a financial institution, with limits on how much it can lend, as based on a ratio of collateral and specie held, have to do with the here subject entity that can create any measure of wealth out of nothing, with no limitations? The US became the most powerful, prosperous, and charitable nation on the planet prior to 1913's income tax, SS, and the Fed's creation. Now the US is in decline on a fast boat.

Interesting way to put it Mike..."A Fast Boat"...in the "Perfect Storm"? (Keep your powder dry, you might need it)

I went to the internet to find out more about the booklet "Economic Solutions" from where this quote. Does anyone know if it has references, footnotes, etc.? I might order it, but I want to know if it is scholarly or incendiary.

Waffler, Smith, Arkansas

Thanks Warren for saying what I was simply to flabergasted and breathless to say, thus I resorted to an epithet. Some quotes just are not worth are time to discuss. Some on this site will fall for any quote that fits there incendiary view of things. These are the guys who see intentionl conspiracies and covert operations around every corner. I think they are not only ill-informed but psychologically or pathologically ill.

Great quote writing a paper on the monetary system, looking forward to learning more about the fallacy of the FED

J Carlton, Calgary

Wow, according to Waffler, if you object to legalized theft by a non government agency, you're psychologically ill. Amazing.

Warren, opinions are like backsides everyone has them but maybe you should do more reading on this subject before offering yours. Just trying to save you embarrassment maybe you could start with this booklet then maybe read The Creature from Jekyll Island so you can understand this issue. "All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arises not from defects in the Constitution or Confederation, not from a want of honor or virtue so much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation." John Adams constitutional convention 1787

Compassion lends, the " Sting of Usury " oppression ! One does not exact from their children or tax their labor or land. They the Children are " At Liberty. " Parents should lay up for their children ! A right given them by God. 3x13=39. 3x9=27. 2x7=14. Fourteen days in the feast, concerning Liberty Freedom. Harmony come from honesty with compassion, never oppression.
