Strait from the Bible, In perfect reference to our time. for all to see, the wisdom of God almighty. those who will not confess his name, are not written in the book. those that humble themselves, and openly asurt thier faith, will be blessed. Timeless the words, timeless the wisdom. a return to the BOOK , will heal this country. Humble yourselves this day, bend your knees in private, and pray , pray for all, pray for this nation, In these dark times, there Is a light, one surpasing ALL your wisdom, if you ever feel it, you will know. PURE love, a burning in the chest that warms, the greatest love. Its real. Dont try too hard to get it, its there already.

kimo, thank you; Known to the founders of a once great nation, they set in motion a political outline that would negate the harshness of the above quote. Like the elders of Israel that gathered themselves together in 1 Samuel 8: to reject the God of their land in favor of a judgement like all other nations, so, today's so called believers have rejected the God of this land in favor of harsh financial task masters (international bankers, fascists, etc.) and a statist theocracy of compelled compliance, licenses, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity, and rejection of the individual's noble sovereign heredity and inalienable rights in parody, like all other nations.

While I don't take the Bible literally for the most part, this is an accurate quote. If I was asked to give a young person one piece of advice it would be to avoid debt as you would avoid a rattlesnake. Credit cards are real convenient, almost a necessity but pay them off monthly. Debt is slavery.

The principle is sound, then and now. When you borrow you owe, simple. We have no choice in the matter, the government borrows from the Fed in monumental amounts and then passes the bill on to We The People. Whether we like it or not, we are slaves to this system of graft and corruption.

Timeless wisdom -- a natural law even. Something all the altruists should remember when attempting to solve civilization's 'problems.' "Can we afford it?" "How will this plan be paid for?" "Who really benefits?" So many people cry about the poor and the 'greedy' rich, yet the very government programs they demand to 'level the playing field' only puts us more in debt and the richer even richer. THINK! And start taking some responsibility. I would say "Get out of debt," but given the way 'money' is created today, all money in circulation represents promises-to-pay -- we are not using real money, we are using IOUs that we trade in lieu of cash. Pay off our debts and there is no more money. we were swindled out of our gold and silver ages ago. Our nation is indeed enslaved, BUT we have the power to free ourselves -- STOP the 'stimulus's! They are merely more debts when the system is trying to crash WHICH IT NEEDS TO DO! Let the currency crash, and then seize the assets of the Federal Reserve, IMF, and World Bank. It is WAR, and we cannot avoid it forever if we indeed wish to be free. IT WILL HAPPEN -- let it be now so that our children can have a clean break from this tyranny.

Good and timeless but worth debating. EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY AND BE SAFE.

Good advice for the clowns in DC who have encouraged consumption through easy credit and low interest rates. As a country we encourage people to spend too much while we don't create anything. They actually believe that unemployment payments does more good for the country than working for a wage can do. In order to keep this fantasy of theirs working, they have to borrow from China, and one day China will call in our long overdue debts. I don't think they'll be Christian about it either.

GunnyCee...I have recently heard that Christianity is the fastest growing religion in China. I'm not sure of the source or its factuality, but I hope its true. If were true within our borders, we would be far more capable of combating the evils we face today. God Bless America and Merry Christmas!

Maybe not wisdom per se but just a statement of fact. Over time man has seen fit to change this fact by instituting bankruptcy etcetera to get the lenders and borrowers back into line. In a democracy the rich rule over the poor because they are allowed to. The only purpose for wealth beyond a "reasonable" amount if for power over people. No matter how wealthy is an individual he still only gets 24 hours in a day and the amount of food he may consume is generally no more than the poor man. Thus wealth maybe overrated in the grand scheme of things. And to have a destitute government in a land of exteme wealth is a Grand Sin. Many courageous rich are now saying "tax me" and still the government and the Republicans just sit there.

Then read of the KJB the thirteen points regarding the conduct of the lender to the barrower of his own nation and that by no means is the lender to practice usery upon the barrower being his brother. In our nation of liberty and freedom at which the children are set. Or the four points of him that lendeth concerning his brother. The seven year release, also the fifty year release of all loans upon a childs property of this nation asuring that childs inheratence and hearatage. It is up to the wealthy to see to the needs of the poor, those that serve them in any field. The poor you have with you always. KJB. Know ye not I have the power to set your fathers house at liberty. KJB . You will not buy and sell the world forever. The cry of the poor reaches the ears of God, pray you are on the right side when he comes !

" Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the Lord will plead their cause, and will spoil the soul of those that spoiled them. Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts." Proverbs 22:22,23,26. Another five stars 2015

Mike Norwalk, I can say with all genuineness I've never met anyone connected with the Bible who had any authentic good intentions, have you?  They were to busy trying to scheme and trick me. The Socialist has the best interest of all in mind, with the accompanying good intentions. Socialism is the challenge of social abilities to create a law abiding citizen.
